Summary
We are looking for outstanding web developer and programmer to be responsible for developing innovative, reusable, responsive web based tools for online website, eCommerce, facebook applications, blogs and forums. Very good knowledge of CMS platforms such Wordpress, Joomla, etc. Accountable for programming, graphic design and database administration.
• Experienced with 1-4 years in software or web development or internet firm
• BS/MS degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related subject
• Demonstrable knowledge of web technologies including HTML, CSS, Javascript, AJAX etc
• Hands on knowledge with HTML/XHTML and CSS
• Expertise in Web programming experience, including PHP, ASP or JSP, with working experience with relational database systems such as MySQL, MSSQL or Oracle and a good working knowledge of SQL
• Development experience using extensible web authoring tools
• Understanding of open source projects like Joomla, Drupal, Wikis, osCommerce, etc
• Experience in common third-party APIs (google, facebook, twitter, etc)
• Experience developing and implementing open source software projects
Key Responsibilities
• Plan, design, develop, debug, implement and support web-based applications and services such as CMS websites (Wordpress, Joomla, eCommerce), Facebook applications, etc.
• Modify existing software to: correct errors, allow it to function in new operating environments, or improve performance.
• Adheres to and recommends improvements to project coding standards
• Work remotely in a team environment with shared code, disciplined use of source code control and process documentation.
• Improve software quality by conducting systems analysis, and recommending changes in policies and procedures.
• Attend client meetings during the sales process, briefing requirement and during development.
• Work closely with project manager, client servicing manager, copy writer and designer to build and refine graphic designs for websites and application.
• Determine appropriate architecture, and other technical solutions, and make relevant recommendations to clients.
• Convert raw images and layouts from a graphic designer into CSS/XHTML themes.
• Communicate clearly to the Project Manager with efficiency and accuracy any progress.
• Share with team members about emerging technologies or applications and the opportunities to integrate them into operations and activities.
