SBI Clerk Mains Results 2016 for Junior Assistants (JA) and Junior Agricultural Associate (JAA) have been further delayed at the official website. Adding to anxiety and confusion among the candidates is that there is no notification on the official website citing the reasons for the delay and the declaration of the results. Candidates were required to appear for the SBI Clerk exam on as held on June 25 and June 26 for the recruitment on JA & JAA posts. Candidates are required to note that over 3.5 lakh candidates had qualified the prelims and had taken the clerk mains exam. The candidates are keeping their finger crossed and awaiting the reasons.
As per reports there have been reasons for the delay. The reasons range from court case concerning the SBI clerk results, the recruitment process, whether to conduct the interview or not. For the candidates, the delay in declaring the results would affect their recruitment opportunities in the banking sector. Getting a job in State Bank of India (SBI) is considered very prestigious for the candidates. According to reports, SBI General is keenly exploring talent at entry level and is hiring from reputed institutions of tier-II and III cities
Once the results of SBI Clerk Mains Results 2016 is out, candidates will know the expected cut off for completing the recruitment process. This year, the candidates who appeared for the SBI Clerk Mains Results 2016 were tested on 90 objective-type questions, with as many as 190 marks. The questions will be divided in various sections – General / Financial Awareness, General English, Quantitative Aptitude and Reasoning Ability & Computer Aptitude. This year, while attempting the exam , candidates were expected to be cautious as there will be negative marking of ¼ marks for every wrong answer marked by the candidate in the objective-type tests. It is also mandatory for the candidates to pass in each of the objective-type tests.
