IBPS PO V - Day 2, Slot I: Exam Analysis

After going through the analysis of the First day, we clearly saw that paper level in all the exams were
 moderate and was similar to SBI PO Prelims.  

So, let’s discuss what the Second Day Shift brings for the students. Let's see whether the pattern remained 
the same or not?  

The paper which was composed of 3 sections, Mathematics, Reasoning and English. The total time is 1 hour, 
so clearly speed, accuracy and planning was needed to do well in the exam.

The first shift exam was overall was moderate. The English section was moderate but the Reading 

Comprehension 
was a bit difficult, Reasoning was overall easy but puzzles were tricky and Mathematics section was again 
moderate and calculative and is the most time consuming section among all.


Some important points collected from the Comment Section -

  • Puzzle based on North-South facing is easy.
  • Number Series - You guys need to find next number missing, which was a cakewalk
  • English RC Passage was on "Australia Banks"
  • Some questions in Quant section were calculative and are best to be left.
  • Simplification was doable.
  • 2 ques of Syllogism were Possiblity Cases
  • English was easy barring 4-5 questions
  • Quant - one DI based on Number of gloves sold (full of calculations)
  • Missing D.I was easy but calculative
  • Cloze passage on Education System
  • One of the Quant questions asked - A bag contains 4 black and 6 red balls. Find the probability of 
  • drawing one ball which is either black or red?
